Compatibility

Your existing cameras. One system.

Omnipercept connects to your cameras and VMS video through compatible bridges. We review models, versions, permissions and profiles before agreeing on site scope.

VMS × bridge × function

Keep your VMS. Connect the video.

Connect camera video and health from another system through its compatible bridge.

Recording covers video received at the site. Bridges do not expose the VMS archive or guarantee events or PTZ.

Milestone ONVIF Bridge
Enable cameras and a dedicated user. Video is available; the bridge does not expose PTZ.
Genetec Media Gateway
Enable ONVIF and RTSP with role permissions. Review licenses and available sessions; PTZ depends on the enabled scope.
Axxon One ONVIF Server
Select cameras and ONVIF permissions. Events depend on the version and the exposed service.
Generic NVR
Validate ONVIF source enumeration and the RTSP stream. Scope is confirmed against the recorder model and firmware.

Bridge test

The connection is checked against your installation.

A name in the list starts the review. Testing confirms the video and functions your bridge can deliver.

Actual inventory

Identify the VMS, version, cameras and the bridge publishing video.

Scoped permissions

Define a read account and review required licenses and network paths.

Complete walkthrough

Check live video, local recording and connection recovery before expanding.

Cameras and codecs

The right profile for each camera.

Interoperates with ONVIF S/G/T and receives video over RTSP. The decoding path depends on the codec and site hardware.

Input and decoding
Protocols
ONVIF S/G/T · RTSP
Hardware
H.264 · H.265
Software
MJPEG · MPEG-2 · MPEG-4

Interoperability is tested per model and firmware. ONVIF G on a camera does not imply access to a remote VMS archive.

ONVIF S/G/T
Discovery, profiles and functions depend on what the camera exposes. Each required operation is tested in the pilot.
RTSP
Receives the camera or bridge stream. Confirm the address, permissions and stability from the site network.
H.264 and H.265 in hardware
Decoding uses an accelerator compatible with the configured profile.
MJPEG, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 in software
These formats use the CPU. Hardware is sized using the video actually received.

Before expanding

Compatibility is demonstrated at the site.

Model and firmware
The inventory records what is installed and which functions you need.
Video profile
Resolution, codec and stream rate are reviewed against the planned analysis.
Network and permissions
Testing uses the paths and accounts authorized for your operation.

Hardware and deployment

Choose the hardware your site needs.

t6x-rt supports NVIDIA, Intel, Apple and CPU profiles. Capacity is validated against your chosen cameras, models and retention.

Processing profiles
  • x86 + GPU NVIDIAValidate site workload
  • DGX SparkValidate site workload
  • JetsonValidate site workload
  • CPU / OpenVINOValidate site workload
  • AppleValidate site workload

Hardware profiles available for sizing. Accelerator choice does not imply equal capacity across devices.

x86 + NVIDIA GPU
For site nodes with video and analysis acceleration; review memory, codecs and workload together.
DGX Spark and Jetson
Local processing options. Select the device profile and test it with your models.
CPU / OpenVINO and Apple
Alternatives using Intel, CPU or Apple acceleration; scope depends on the model and supported execution.

Site operation

Process locally. Manage together.

Hardware is chosen for the work at the site and joins shared administration.

Local analysis

Video is analyzed at the site without depending on internet for that task.

Central administration

The console brings configuration and health together to review cameras across sites.

Tested sizing

The pilot checks hardware against the camera profiles and analytics you will operate.

Integrations

Connect the systems your team already uses.

Identity, notifications, monitoring and sensors join the scope through documented connections and defined permissions.

External connections
  • LDAP / AD · Okta

Use your directory and identity provider to manage access.

    Connects
  • SIEM / webhook · Syslog CEF

Send security events to your control room's tools.

    Connects
  • SNMP

Deliver platform alerts to your network monitoring collector.

    Connects
  • Prometheus

Review platform health through existing monitoring tools.

    Connects
  • NetBox → Checkmk

Reflect network inventory changes in the connected monitoring system.

    Connects
  • MQTT / AMQP

Bring connected device readings together with video events.

    Connects
  • REST

Exchange events and queries with your systems through documented interfaces.

    Connects

Each connection requires a compatible receiver or service. MQTT requires enabling the broker and configuring transport before operation.

Corporate identity
LDAP/AD and Okta require directory or provider configuration and access mapping review.
Notifications and monitoring
SIEM, webhooks, Syslog CEF, SNMP and Prometheus need a receiver and agreed delivery rules.
Inventory and sensors
NetBox → Checkmk reflects inventory changes. MQTT, AMQP and REST connect readings and events with video.
